What's the difference between Field Log and The Lantern?+
Field Log is where you write a note. When a note is about someone — you tag them with @, or start it from their contact page — it's filed straight to their history, with its action items on The Trail. To Review on the website (The Lantern tab in the app) is where forwarded emails wait for review, along with any note where RepBud can't tell who it's about, which waits for you to choose.
How do @mentions work?+
Type @ and start a name to tag a contact, company or client. The log files against the tagged contact so it shows up on their timeline. RepBud will also suggest names it spots in your note even without the @.
Can I dictate instead of typing?+
Yes — tap Dictate and speak your note. Voice capture uses your browser's own speech recognition, so the button only appears where your browser supports it.
Is there a length limit?+
Yes — 500 characters, so Field Log stays a place for short notes. Past 350, on a trial or paid plan, the page offers to forward the note as an email to your @log.repbud.app address instead, where there's no length limit.
