Luxury Travel Trade Shows & Conferences 20262027

The luxury end of the trade meets on its own circuit: invitation-only appointment shows where advisors and buyers sit down with lodges, hotels and DMCs one table at a time. These are the ones the luxury market plans its year around, with dates, venues and somewhere to stay near each.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Business travel show FAQs

What are the main luxury travel trade shows?+

ILTM Cannes each December is the largest, with regional editions in Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America and North America through the year. Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas each August is the biggest gathering of luxury advisors, PURE Life Experiences in Marrakech covers experiential luxury, and We Are Africa is the luxury African circuit.

What is the difference between ILTM and Virtuoso Travel Week?+

ILTM is an appointment-based trade show open to qualified luxury buyers and suppliers across the market. Virtuoso Travel Week is the annual gathering of the Virtuoso network specifically — its member agencies and preferred partners — so access depends on your relationship with the network rather than on general trade registration.

Are luxury travel trade shows invitation only?+

Mostly, yes. ILTM, PURE and We Are Africa run hosted-buyer models where buyers apply and are qualified before being invited, and suppliers buy a stand or table. That is a real difference from a general show like WTM or ITB, where trade visitors can usually register themselves.

When is ILTM Cannes and where is it held?+

ILTM Cannes runs each December at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Check the event page for the confirmed dates of the coming edition — organisers publish them roughly a year ahead, and this calendar picks them up from the official source.

How far ahead should I book hotels for a luxury travel show?+

Earlier than for a general show. Cannes in December and Las Vegas during Virtuoso Travel Week both sell out, and rates climb steeply — 4 to 6 months is sensible, and the closer hotels go first.

How do I keep track of the appointments I take at these shows?+

RepBud is built for it — appointment shows mean back-to-back meetings, so log each one on your phone between tables, keep the follow-up against the right contact, and get a report of the show from your own interaction history afterwards. RepBud is designed to assist, not replace, your professional judgement.

Working the show circuit?

Keep track of who you meet, show after show.

Reps and DMCs, operators and agents, lodges and hotels, travel media — whoever you are there as, log a conversation by text, photo or forwarded email and RepBud files it against the right contact, show after show.
