®REPBUD REVENUE
Your books, start to finish
Scan a receipt with your phone, split it across the clients it was for, and raise the branded invoice — accounting that sits beside the client work that earned it.
A WORD FROM REPBUD RAY
The money side of a rep business usually lives in another app. Revenue keeps invoicing, receipt scanning and your year-end profit and loss beside your client work — scan a receipt, split it across the clients it was for, and raise a branded invoice without re-keying a thing.
Snap it. Tag it. Send it.
From a crumpled receipt to a cost you can attribute
Scan the receipt
Photograph the lunch, the taxi, the coffees from a morning of buyer meetings. Revenue reads the merchant, date, total and tax off the image and fills the expense in for you.
Split it between clients
One lunch, three clients? Tick them all and the total divides equally — edit any share that is not even. Each client carries its own slice of the cost, from a single card charge.
Raise the invoice
Send a branded invoice as PDF or email, set a payment reminder, and watch it land in the ledger and your VAT return.
Prepare your year end
Because it all lands on a double-entry ledger, your Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance are ready to export when your accountant asks for them.

FAQ
Revenue questions
What is RepBud Revenue?+
Revenue is the accounting workspace built into RepBud. It handles invoicing, quotes, bills, expenses with receipt scanning, bank reconciliation, VAT, payroll and reporting — on a real double-entry ledger. Because it sits inside RepBud, your books live beside the client relationships that generate them, with no second login.
Can I scan a receipt with my phone?+
Yes. Photograph a receipt in the Expenses screen and Revenue reads it intelligently — merchant, date, total and tax are extracted and used to fill in the expense. You check the detail, allocate it, and save. It is designed to assist your bookkeeping, not to replace your review of it.
Can I allocate an expense to a specific client?+
Yes — and you can split one receipt across several of them. Tag an expense to the client or project it belongs to, or tick two or more clients and the total divides equally between them, with any amount editable. One lunch for three clients becomes three attributed costs from a single card charge, and the whole receipt still reconciles against your bank statement as one payment.
Can I split one receipt between several clients?+
Yes. When you record an expense, choose "Split across clients", tick the clients it was for, and the total divides equally between them — override any amount if the shares are uneven. Revenue will not save the split until the parts add up to the whole receipt, so no part of the cost goes unattributed. The charge stays a single transaction, so it still matches your bank statement line one-to-one when you reconcile.
Does Revenue do VAT and Making Tax Digital?+
Revenue computes VAT on standard, cash and flat-rate schemes and prepares your MTD return, keeping the digital records HMRC asks for. Direct filing to HMRC switches on once our production approval completes. It also produces a UK Corporation Tax estimate and handles South African (SARS) tax, which is useful if you represent properties across both markets.
Is it a proper double-entry accounting system?+
Yes. Revenue runs a real double-entry ledger with journals, a chart of accounts, period lock, fixed assets, budgets and an audit trail. Every report — P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, aged receivables and payables — ties back to that ledger.
Can I move my books over from Xero, QuickBooks or Sage?+
Yes. Revenue has an import wizard for Xero, QuickBooks and Sage exports, including Sage 50 audit-trail files, which are split by transaction type on the way in. You can also set opening balances directly if you are starting mid-year.
Can my accountant see my books?+
Yes. You can invite your accountant as a view-only user, and add team members with roles. Each company you create is its own isolated set of accounts.
Does Revenue handle payroll?+
Yes, for UK payroll: payslips, PAYE and NI, statutory pay, student loans, pension auto-enrolment, and P45 and P60 documents. Direct RTI submission to HMRC is not switched on yet.
Which currencies does Revenue support?+
Multi-currency is built in rather than sold as an add-on — GBP, ZAR, USD and EUR are supported, which covers most travel representation businesses working between Europe, the US and Africa.
How do I get Revenue?+
