Your awards night, presented on the big screen
Add your awards and nominees, set the running order, then reveal each winner on your cue with a wheel of nominees or a gold envelope. You run the evening from a private console; the room watches the audience screen.
What is Awards Night?
It is an awards ceremony presentation that runs in the browser, built on the RepBud Prize Wheel. It does the job a slide deck is usually built for, award, nominees and winner, with one difference: the winner stays off the audience screen until the presenter reveals it. It is for staff awards, end-of-year company awards, Christmas party awards, club and society awards, and school or sports presentation nights.
How it works
- Create the ceremony. Name it and choose a theme: Black Tie & Gold or Christmas Gala.
- Add awards and nominees. Build the running order. Each award has its nominees, optional presenter notes and a presentation style.
- Choose how each winner is decided. Pick the winner privately in advance, or leave it to a random draw on the night.
- Open the audience screen. Open the screen link on the projector, TV or another device and make it fill the screen.
- Present each award. Prepare an award to show it to the room, then present it to reveal the winner. Reset an award to rehearse it.
What is included
Nominees Wheel
A wheel of the nominees spins on the audience screen and lands on the winner.
Golden Reveal
A gold envelope opens on the audience screen to show a winner you chose in advance.
Ceremony Director
The presenter's private console: running order, presenter notes, what is on the screen now and what has been presented.
Audience screen
Opens from a link on any device and shows the award on stage. It is sent the winner only when the presenter reveals it.
Chosen or random
Choose each winner privately beforehand, or draw one at random at the moment of presenting. A random winner is drawn once, so presenting again shows the same name.
Rehearsal
Present an award, reset it and present it again, so the evening can be run through before the room arrives.

Questions, answered
What is Awards Night?
An awards ceremony presentation that runs in the browser. The organiser creates a ceremony with a running order of awards; each award has nominees, optional presenter notes and a presentation style. On the night the presenter reveals each winner on an audience screen.
How do I announce award winners on stage with it?
Run the evening from the Ceremony Director, a private console on your laptop or phone. Prepare an award and the audience screen shows it with its nominees. Present it and the winner is revealed to the room, by wheel or gold envelope.
What is the difference between the Nominees Wheel and the Golden Reveal?
With the Nominees Wheel, a wheel of the nominees spins and lands on the winner. With the Golden Reveal, a gold envelope opens to show the winner. You choose the style for each award.
Can I choose the winner in advance, or is it random?
Either. You can choose the winner privately in advance, or have the winner drawn at random at the moment of presenting. A random draw uses the Nominees Wheel.
How does the audience screen work on a projector or TV?
Open the audience screen link on the device connected to the projector or TV and use its fullscreen button. It shows the award on stage and then the winner once you reveal it. Your console stays on your own device.
Can the audience see the winner early?
No. The audience screen is sent the winner only after you present the award. Before that it holds the award and its nominees.
Can we rehearse the ceremony beforehand?
Yes. An award can be reset and presented again, so you can run through the evening first. Resetting a random award clears its winner, so the night itself gets a fresh draw.
Is this an alternative to an awards ceremony PowerPoint template?
It does the on-screen job a slide deck is usually built for: award, nominees, winner. It is a browser tool and not a downloadable slide file, and the winner stays off the audience screen until you reveal it.
How much does Awards Night cost?
Organising a ceremony is included with Wheel Pro and with Premium Economy plans and above. Without a subscription, a Premium Experience Pass opens one ceremony for 90 days at £9.99, US$12.99, €11.99 or ZAR 209.00 before VAT. The audience needs no account.
Does it work for a Christmas party awards night?
Yes. Christmas party awards are one of the uses it is built for, and Christmas Gala is one of the two themes alongside Black Tie & Gold.
Can a sports club or school use it for a presentation night?
Yes. It suits club and society awards and school or sports presentation nights as well as staff and company awards. Each award in the running order has its own nominees and presentation style.
Can remote colleagues watch?
The audience screen opens from a link on any device, so colleagues elsewhere can open it or you can share it in a video call. It has no video or chat of its own.
Does Awards Night collect nominations or votes?
No. You enter the nominees for each award yourself. It handles the presentation and the reveal on the night, and it does not make certificates or trophies.
