  2. Fill in your cardYour name, your company and a confirmed account. That is what the people you reach out to see, and it is what keeps the network real.
  3. Find people and ask to connectSearch by name, company, property or destination, or see who is at the next show. When they accept, you can message them.

Members agree to the Code of Conduct. A declined request stays declined, and you can block or report anyone.

Connect is the front door

Behind it is the toolkit the trade runs its week on — contacts and companies, meeting logs, trade events, client reports and more. Economy includes a share of it at no cost; pricing says what each cabin adds. Reps can also list the businesses they represent, free.

Before you join

Is Connect really free?+

Yes. Finding people, connecting, messaging your connections, Who's Nearby and RepBud Ready matching cost nothing, on Economy as on any other plan. Economy is the free cabin: no card and no expiry date. Paid cabins add the parts of RepBud that cost us money to run, such as sending email campaigns and intelligent tools.

Who is on RepBud?+

The travel trade, around the world: reps, travel agents and tour operators (RepBuddies), travel PR, DMCs and ground handlers, travel media (RepBud Reporters), trade event organisers, and properties, experiences and tourism boards looking for a rep (RepBud Ready).

Who can I connect with?+

Members of the trade connect across roles — a rep with an agent, a PR with a reporter, an organiser with an exhibitor. The one pairing kept apart is travel agents and properties looking for a rep: a RepBud Ready listing is for reps, and agents book through them.

Can I message someone without connecting first?+

No. A message needs an accepted connection, so nobody lands in your inbox without your say-so. Ask to connect, and once they accept you can write to them.

What stops it filling up with spam?+

To reach out you need a real profile: your name, your company and a confirmed account. Members agree to the Code of Conduct. A declined request cannot be sent again by the person who was declined, and you can block or report anyone.

Can other members see my contacts?+

No. Your contacts, your notes and your logged activity stay yours. Other members see the profile you choose to show them and nothing more.

Is it only for one country?+

No. RepBud is used by the travel trade across source markets and destinations, and the search understands places — somebody who works East Africa is found by a search for Kenya.

How do I join?+

With your email address, or with Google, Facebook or LinkedIn. After that you can sign in with your password or with a six-digit code we email you.
