Business Travel Conferences & Events 2026–2027
The main business travel conferences are Business Travel Show Europe, where corporate travel buyers, travel managers and TMCs meet suppliers in London, and the MICE shows (IBTM World, IMEX Frankfurt, IMEX America and Meetings Africa), where meeting planners and incentive buyers meet venues, destinations and DMCs. They run on their own circuit, separate from the leisure trade shows. Dates, venues and hotels for each are below.

What is the main business travel show in the UK?+
Business Travel Show Europe, held at ExCeL London in June. It is built for corporate travel managers, travel procurement and travel management professionals and the suppliers who sell to them, with sectors covering hotels, rail, ground transport, expense management and sustainable travel. What are corporate travel events?+
Conferences and trade shows for the people who buy and manage business travel for companies (travel managers, procurement teams and TMCs) and the hotel, rail, ground transport and expense management suppliers who sell to them. Business Travel Show Europe at ExCeL London is the corporate travel event on this page; the MICE shows cover group meetings, incentives and events.
What is the difference between a business travel show and a MICE show?+
Business travel events focus on managed corporate travel — policy, booking tools, TMCs and duty of care. MICE events (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) focus on group and event business: venues, destinations, DMCs and incentive programmes. IBTM and IMEX sit on the MICE side; Business Travel Show Europe sits on the corporate travel side. Plenty of people attend both.
Which MICE trade shows are on this list?+
IBTM World at Fira Barcelona Gran Via in November and IMEX Frankfurt at Messe Frankfurt in May are the two global shows. IMEX America runs at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas in October, IBTM Americas in Mexico City and IBTM Africa in Cape Town serve their regions, and Meetings Africa, organised by South African Tourism, runs at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
How do hosted buyer programmes work at MICE shows?+
Buyers apply and are vetted before they are accepted. At IBTM World, hosted buyers get a diary of pre-scheduled and self-scheduled meetings with flights and accommodation included; at IMEX America, hosted buyers commit to six to eight 30-minute meetings a day. Terms change by edition, so check the organiser page linked from each event.
