Why do I see "No open briefs yet"?+
A brief shows while it is open and its deadline hasn't passed, so an empty screen means no journalist has a live commission out at the moment. Connecting with travel media who cover your destinations is still worth doing — use the Find Reporters button — because you respond to a brief once you're connected with its reporter.
Who sees my response?+
The reporter who posted the brief sees your name and your message. Pitch the access, trips, interviews or imagery you can offer.
Can I change a response after sending it?+
Yes. While the brief is still open your card shows an Edit link — reopen it, update the text and save with Update response.
What should I put in a pitch?+
Keep it specific to the angle — a property, a press trip in their window, an interview, or imagery. RepBud is designed to assist, not replace, your professional judgement.
Will I be notified about new briefs?+
New briefs show as a red count on Reporter Briefs in Connections. They start on Badge only, with no phone notification; choose Notify me for Reporter briefs on the Notifications page if you want one.
