RepBud Relay

A travel-trade alternative to WeTransfer

Relay sends the brochure, the image library or the destination film as one link — from inside the dashboard where your contacts already live, with nothing arranged around your material but your own.

WeTransfer is the best-known way to send a large file as a link, and it made the idea mainstream.

What RepBud Relay is

WeTransfer made sending a big file simple, and there is nothing wrong with it. Relay is the same idea placed somewhere more useful: inside RepBud, where the buyer you are sending to is already a contact.

Drag files in and you get one shareable link to paste into any email or WhatsApp message. Files can be up to 5 GB each, with transfers up to 5 GB on Premium Economy, 10 GB on Business Class and 25 GB on First Class and Charter. Recipients download in the browser with no account and no install, and there are no adverts around what you sent. Links expire after three days and the files delete themselves; you can revoke a link early and see how many times each one was downloaded. It is included with paid plans rather than a separate subscription.

What it brings to your day

Sent from where your contacts already are

📦

Big enough for a full library

Files up to 5 GB each, and transfers up to 5 GB, 10 GB or 25 GB depending on your plan — an image library or a destination film, not just a PDF.

👀

Nothing around your material

A buyer opens your link and sees your files. No adverts, no upsell, no account wall between them and the brochure you asked them to read.

Tidies itself up

Links expire after three days and files delete from storage, so last season's rates are not still circulating. Revoke early from the dashboard if you need to.

📈

You can see it landed

Download counts per link — and if you name the contact the files are for, the first download files itself onto their timeline.

Being straight with you

Relay is for sending, not for storing. It is not a cloud drive, there is no folder sync, no shared workspace and no long-term archive — the three-day expiry is fixed, not a setting. Live links are capped by plan (10, 25 or 100), and it comes with paid RepBud plans rather than standing alone. If you want files to stay available indefinitely, a storage service is the right tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions people ask us

How big a transfer can I send?+

Files up to 5 GB each, and total transfers up to 5 GB on Premium Economy, 10 GB on Business Class, and 25 GB on First Class and Charter. That covers most brochure sets, image libraries and destination films the trade sends around.

Does the recipient need an account?+

No. They click the link and download in the browser — no account, no install, and no adverts arranged around your material. A buyer receiving your image library should not have to sign up for anything to see it.

What happens after three days?+

The link expires and the files delete themselves from storage. That is deliberate: a brochure link forwarded around the trade for two years is a liability, not a service. If someone needs it again, send a fresh link — it takes seconds.

Can I take a link back?+

Yes. Revoke it early from the dashboard and it stops working straight away. You can also see the download count for each link, so you know whether the brochure you sent was actually opened before you chase.

Can I put a password on a link?+

Yes, on any transfer. Choose a password when you send, and share it with your buyer separately from the link — RepBud never puts it in the link itself. Until it is entered the download page shows nothing at all, not even the filenames, and repeated wrong guesses lock the link for a while.

Does the CRM know they downloaded it?+

If you say who the files are for, yes. The first download files itself onto that contact's timeline, alongside your meetings and emails with them — so the fact that the rate sheet was opened on Tuesday is simply there next time you look at them, without anyone writing a note.

Do I need another subscription for it?+

No. Relay is included with paid RepBud plans from Premium Economy up. That does mean it suits people already using RepBud rather than someone shopping for a standalone transfer service.
