A truth or dare wheel with party-safe prompts

Spin to see whether the next player gets a truth, a dare or a pass. This wheel keeps the prompts light enough for a work social or a mixed group, and you can add your own wedges or change the weights to make dares rarer.

Spin it here. Open it as your own wheel to rename wedges, change weights, save it and show it on a big screen.

What is on this wheel

Your wheel opens as “Truth or dare” with these 6 wedges. A higher weight means a bigger wedge and a proportionally higher chance; rename, add or remove any of them.

  • Truth · weight 4
  • Dare · weight 3
  • Truth: group picks · weight 2
  • Dare: group picks · weight 2
  • Swap with a neighbour · weight 1
  • Free pass · weight 1

Tips

  1. Agree the ground rules first: anyone can pass, and nothing that would embarrass someone at work the next day.
  2. Write a stack of truths and dares on cards so the group is not stuck thinking of one on the spot.
  3. Raise the weight of Truth for a quieter group and of Dare for a livelier one.
  4. Add players’ names on a second wheel to pick who goes next.

Questions

Can I make it fair for who goes next?+

Yes. Make a second wheel with the players’ names and remove each person once they have had a turn. Each spin uses the browser’s cryptographically secure random source.

Can I change the odds of a dare?+

Yes. Set a weight from 1 to 20 on each wedge. The slices resize to show the odds.

Is it suitable for a work party?+

The wedges here are prompts to pick a truth or a dare, not the questions themselves, so you control what gets asked. Keep the cards light and let anyone pass.
