Questions
How accurate is it?+
Good enough to save the typing, not good enough to skip the check — which is why the review step shows the raw text it read beside the fields it filled in. RepBud is designed to assist, not replace, your professional judgement.
What if the person is already in my contacts?+
You are offered the existing record instead of a new one, and merging only fills the blanks — it will not overwrite an email or a job title you already have.
Does it read cards that are not in English?+
It is not restricted to English, but it is not told what to expect either, so read a non-English card over carefully at the review step. One thing to watch: phone numbers with no country code are formatted as UK numbers.
Can I scan event badges?+
Yes, with Scan badge / QR, which is a separate button. It reads the badge's code rather than photographing it — vCard badges become contacts, a RepBud QR adds that member as a contact — and it does not use up a card scan.
Can I use a photo I took earlier?+
Yes. Choose photo takes it from your camera roll rather than making you take a new one.
Which plans include it, and how many?+
Card scanning is on the paid plans and on a trial, not on the free Economy tier. The monthly allowance goes with the cabin — a trial carries a handful, and it rises through Premium Economy, Business Class and First Class. When the month's scans run out, the screen says so and offers a higher cabin.
