Getting from the airport to WTM London, ITB Berlin, IMEX, IBTM World, ILTM and ATM

How do I get from the airport to the venue at the big travel trade shows?

For IBTM World, the L9 metro runs from Barcelona airport’s Terminal 1 to Fira Gran Via in 19 minutes. For IMEX, take the S8 or S9 from Frankfurt Airport to the Hauptbahnhof and change to the S3, S4, S5 or S6 for Frankfurt (Main) Messe. London City Airport is less than a mile from ExCeL for WTM London. For ILTM, Nice airport is about 27 km, roughly 30 minutes, from Cannes. For Arabian Travel Market, the World Trade Centre Metro Station gives direct access to the venue.

WTM London — ExCeL London

  • The venue is ExCeL London, Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL.
  • By DLR: Prince Regent station serves the East Entrance.
  • By Elizabeth line: the organiser calls it the quickest route from central London, calling at Liverpool Street and Canary Wharf.
  • By Jubilee line: change at Canning Town for a Beckton-bound DLR train.
  • By air: London City Airport is less than a mile from ExCeL; the other London airports connect by public transport.
  • By cable car from North Greenwich: WTM attendees get 50% off the standard fare.
  • By car: the Orange Car Park is for pre-booked customers only during WTM. The organiser lists Dockside Road, Manor Road and The O2 as other car parks.

ITB Berlin — Messe Berlin

  • ITB Berlin is held on the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds.
  • By S-Bahn: the S3, S5, S7, S9 and the Ring (S41/S42) serve the grounds; ITB suggests getting off at Messe Süd or Westkreuz.
  • By taxi or ride-hailing: there are three pick-up and drop-off zones on the grounds.
  • By car: parking on the grounds is limited. ITB listed the ICC car park at €20 a day for the 2026 show.

IMEX Frankfurt — Messe Frankfurt

  • The venue is Messe Frankfurt, Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, 60327 Frankfurt.
  • From Frankfurt Airport: S8 or S9 to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, then S3, S4, S5 or S6 to Frankfurt (Main) Messe. By car or taxi it is about 15 minutes.
  • From Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof: a few hundred metres, around 10 minutes on foot.
  • At the grounds: the S-Bahn station Frankfurt (Main) Messe (Torhaus entrance), the U4 at Festhalle/Messe, and trams 16 and 17 at Festhalle/Messe.

IBTM World — Fira Barcelona Gran Via

  • The venue is Fira Barcelona Gran Via, Av. Joan Carles I, 08908 L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. The show is in Hall 3, through the Accés Sud entrance.
  • By metro from the airport: the L9 runs from Terminal 1 to Fira Gran Via in 19 minutes. The nearest station is Europa/Fira, also on the L6, L7 and L8.
  • By train from the airport: trains run every half hour to Barcelona Sants, with a metro connection onward.
  • Airport shuttle buses: the organiser lists Tuesday 07:30–09:30 (airport to venue) and Thursday 16:00–18:00 (venue to airport); check its page for who they are for.

ILTM Cannes — Palais des Festivals

  • The venue is the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, 1 Boulevard de la Croisette, 06400 Cannes.
  • By air: Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) is about 27 km, roughly 30 minutes, from Cannes.
  • By train: TGV and regional trains run to Cannes.
  • By car: from the A8, take the Cannes La Bocca or Mougins/Cannes exit.
  • ILTM publishes complimentary transfer details for exhibitors and for hosted buyers on its own site.

Arabian Travel Market — Dubai World Trade Centre

  • The venue is Dubai World Trade Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road.
  • By metro: the World Trade Centre Metro Station gives direct access to the venue.
  • By car: DWTC has 7,530 parking spaces across six paid and two free car parks.
  • By air: Dubai International Airport (DXB) is the one the organiser points visitors to.
